Just what on the planet was that thing?
You probably already know this but I think we've got trouble.
I tried connecting my phone to the network to see if I could get a location ping on whatever it was but my phone just came up with a screen of weird symbols, so I guess it's not compatible. I did however manage to take a video of the recording with my phone camera so you can look at it again. Should I send it? It's kind of low quality, and the original was pretty shaky to begin with.
The sound it made...you don't think it's a Zolom, do you?
Mr President? You should probably stay inside, but we may have to move you in a hurry.
Does this city have an army? A police force? Anything?

Well, if there's no police force it would kind of be my duty to protect civilians in their absence. And you did say monster slaying was your job. Now I think about it, I don't see why we shouldn't try to fight it.
I only have a couple of mini grenades and a handgun on me, but if no one is going to arrest me for property damage I'm sure I can be creative.

Explosives are also always very handy in situations like these. There could most definitely be a plan.

Although if that's the case, I don't plan on holding back.

Neither do I.

I don't need to be protected, I just wish we had some heavy artillery.

You and me both.
voice;
voice;
Are you and Angeal San our unofficial guardians? Because I'm guessing you're not natives.
[[Muttered to herself.]]
Angeal... That name sounds familiar. I don't know about the last name "San" though...
voice;
W-Who might you be, my Lady? I-- I am Ranmaru! Mori Ranmaru, General of the third unit of Lord Nobunaga's army!
voice;
...Wait, you said you were a General? As in an actual military General?
That's incredible. I don't think the Shinra Army ever had a female general, unless you count Scarlet, but she was an engineer, not a fighter.
[[Tilts head to one side.]]
Are you okay? You sound kind of nervous.
voice;
[ There's a little frustrated and resigned sigh, before he continues. ]
This warrior is fine, My Lady. Though your rank of Turks has never been mentioned among here, it must be a very important position!
[ A pause, hoping he can convince her by not needing to argue about his gender. ]
A-And women are not allowed in the army...
voice;
...?!
[[Audible sound of a hand slapping over her mouth.]]
[[ooc;klfjsldfj Sorry! ;____; I just saw the pink and jumped to conclusions. *dies*]]
voice;
[ooc; HAHAHA DON'T WORRY IT'S CANON FOR HIM TO BE MISTAKEN FOR A GIRL. :D ]
voice;
Getting a person's whole gender wrong...I can't believe I did that...gee...it's just one blonde moment after the other with me...gah, story of my life!
[[ooc; Well it's canon for her to make embarrassing mistakes so that works out nicely then. :) ]]
voice;
[ooc; Oh, I know, I laughed when she slipped and thought "Why is that so Elena." XD ]
voice;
I'm fine.
It means--uh, well, "blonde" is my hair colour and people with my hair colour are often said to be lacking in intelligence and common sense, but that's just a stereotype and my sister was--well, that's not important, but the point is--
[[A pause, then a faint, unhappy sigh.]]
People think I'm an idiot and sometimes I am.
filtered ; omg sorry i missed this \o\
filtered ; that's okay!
There's no radio, no TV and by the looks of things we're going to be hiding inside for quite a while.
Sir, I hope you like playing poker.
filtered ;
[He almost sounds irritated by the idea that they don't have much entertainment.]
Poker, I suppose, will have to do. For now.
